Surftoberfest is a family friendly event that celebrates the vibrant surf culture of our community while blending in with the festive traditions of Oktoberfest. The event will be held on Saturday, October 17 in Downtown Corpus Christi at the Executive Surf Club, on Chaparral Street, and in the El Camino Margarita Garden and Woodshed Market areas.

After more than ten years of celebration, our festival has grown into a beloved local tradition attracting beer enthusiasts, families, and festivalgoers for a day filled with German traditions and lots of family fun. We'll hold our annual people and pet costume contests, a rousing stein-holding competition, and a special children's area that will offer free root beer, fedoras, and temporary tattoos for the little ones. We'll have a great musical line-up too, featuring some great bands including Crucial Riddim, Red Ravens, Young Klassics, Diamond's Edge, The Chainlinks, and 18 Hours.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Texas Surf Conservancy — an environmental and educational nonprofit organization that works to preserve marine habitats and promote oyster mariculture along the Gulf Coast of Texas.
